Marine and oil field industry because of humid and corrosive environment always requires multiple chemical products to clean system or systems parts. Emulsifiers, acid inhibitor, Corrosion inhibitor, tank cleaner chemicals randomly used in these industries.

Oil Dispersants

Dispersants are chemicals that are sprayed on a surface oil slick to break down the oil into smaller droplets that more readily mix with the water. An oil dispersant is a mixture of emulsifier, surfactants and solvents to break oil into small droplets which are easier to disperse and small droplets may be more readily degradable by microbes and can be easy to soak by soaking material.

Degreasers

Heavy duty degreasers are products usually used to remove oil, grime, grease, soil from metal, fiber glass and other surfaces. Degreaser are usually blends of alkaline salts, mineral acids, organic acid, solvents, emulsifiers and surfactants. Degreaser selection is usually done taking in consideration thickness of contaminant, type of contaminant and area of application.

Carbon Remover

Carbon remover is used undiluted to dissolve residual combustion products and by-products of used oils. Carbon cleaners removes deposits contains thick carbon, varnishes and lacquers from burned oils, mineral oils.

Rust Remover

Rust occurs when iron and other ferrous (containing iron) metals oxidize. When oxygen, water, and iron meet, a subtle and invisible chemical process occurs that causes electrons to move and turns iron into iron oxide, also known as rust. Multiple mineral acid, organic acid or Chelator based formulations easily dissolve iron oxide form on the surface and prepare smooth surface for next step to protect it from further corrosion.

Descaler

Descalers are acid based product that contains acid inhibitors and that is highly effective to remove lime scale, rust and alkaline salt deposits from the metal base. These industrial descalers will quickly dissolve calcium, lime, rust, and other types of deposits, from water-cooled or heated equipment, chiller tubes, boiler tubes, brazed plate heat exchangers. It is safe for use on steel, iron, brass, copper and not recommended in concentrated dosages on aluminium, zinc, white metal alloys.

Corrosion inhibitor/Acid Inhibitor

Inhibitors reduces the corrosion rate of a metal exposed to that environment. An inhibitor is a substance that slows down a chemical reaction or avoids further corrosion on base metal once superficial rust or scales are removed. Corrosion inhibitors or Acid Inhibitors are commonly added in small amounts to acids, cooling waters, steam, and many other environments either continuously or intermittently to reduce the intensity of corrosion.
