Aerosols are a combination of liquid or solid particles that are suspended in a gaseous or liquid environment. They can be natural or anthropogenic. Fog, dust and geyser steam are some examples of aerosol. They can be found in the stratosphere, but mainly situated in the lower layers of the atmosphere. There are various types of aerosol classified according to their physical forms and how they generated. It is used in varied areas like delivering deodorants, paints or consumer products with sprays, for medical treatment of respiratory diseases, in agricultural applications, etc.
