Buffing & Polishing

Polishing refers to a process that uses an abrasive that is attached to a work wheel and buffing means to loose abrasive applied to the work wheel. These are the work process that is used mostly in finishing and smoothing process of surfaces. They add shine to metal, wood and other material. These are combined with greases where polishing generally involves sandpaper and buffing involves buffing wheels and buffing compounds. Buffing produces a high luster and shines in the metal while polishing helps in improving surface material to prepare for buffing it.
