Precious Metal Plating

Golden, silver, platinum, etc are precious metals, which means they come with rare and high value. They form alloys by binding up with other elements that make them ideal for jewelry. Plating is a process that coats metals with bright colored plating that change its worth. Mostly rhodium is used to change the color of these metals to yellowish texture and white for white gold. Pieces of jewelry are put into plating solutions which cause the plating to bond on the Jewellery. If the item has two colors, the undesired texture is masked off the jewel.

Gold Plating

Gold plating consists of putting a thin layer of gold on another metal’s surface. There are various types of gold plating- soft to hard types. Gold is put by evaporation methods or electroplating with an idea of selective plating used in depositing nickel and gold layers only on areas where it's required.

Durable and lustrous silver finishes. #SilverPlating

Silver Plating

Silver Plating generally amalgamates silver nitrate powder and potassium cyanide with water that is used for keeping metals corrosion resistant and also acts as an adornment.

Durable and lustrous rhodium finishes. #RhodiumPlating

Rhodium plating

Rhodium is en expensive material, more than gold silver or platinum. The process of plating Rhodium on other metals is termed as rhodium plating. It carries thin layers on metals making it a rare usage for electroplating.

Ruthenium

Ruthenium is the widest plating choice with a smooth surface and exceptional resistance to corrosion. Ruthenium is extremely hard and shiny with using premier alloys like palladium and platinum to make it durable and abrasion-free.

Palladium

Palladium is a corrosion-resistant plating that often acts as a gold substitute with lustrous and soft textured properties. It is well suited for the prevention of oxide formation.
